How to setup a new email user in SmarterMail
1. Login to web mail
- click on "settings" icon
- Click on plus sign on "domain settings"
- Click on "users"
- then click "new" icon
- fill out the name and password. Then save.
2. If you want to have the new account on the alias such as everyone@ or staff@ for example, then you
can click on the "aliases" and click edit on the email aliases. A word of caution about group email lists: spammers can target those emails to flood email to your entire list with one message, so only create the group aliases that you really need.
3. Once you have created your new email accounts and or aliases you need to login to the MailFoundry and add these new addresses to the spam filter allow list.
If you do not have an admin account to manage your domain please contact Richweb to have your account setup. You will NOT be able to accept external email until this step is completed. Internal email (email between members of your own domain) will work immediately.
